Here you can find the reports on the funding of the election campaigns of the political parties, election coalitions and independent candidates that participated in the elections of the Riigikogu, the European Parliament and the local government councils since the local government elections of 2013.
NB! Earlier election campaign reports can be found in the document register of the Riigikogu.
Until 1 January 2014, the political parties only had set out the campaign expenses in their election campaign reports, because their financial means were declared in the periodical reports on revenues. However, it is not possible to compare the size of the election campaign expenses of political parties, because the time period of conducting the election campaign and the nature of campaign expenses are not defined. Therefore the campaign periods differ by several times, the political parties also have different approaches as to what should be considered campaign expenses.
Since 1 January 2014, the political parties have to indicate only the election campaign expenses of single candidates who ran in the list of political parties and incurred election campaign expenses separately from the political party, and the sources for covering those expenses in the election campaign reports; the expenses of the political party are shown in the quarterly reports on revenues and expenses.
Election coalitions and independent candidates have to indicate both the expenses connected with the election campaign and the financial means used to cover these expenses in their election campaign reports.
